The Juice Works 3D Studio System
Three Levels. One Connected Journey.
1. Explorer — Discover
Beginner-Friendly Studio Entry
Explorer is the starting point for Innovators who are new to a Studio. Through highly guided, hands-on projects, students build confidence, discover new interests, and develop foundational technical skills.
- Format: 4-week Innovation Block with one 1-hour session per week
- Learning Experience: Small-group, coach-led, hands-on instruction
- Studios: Game Design, Robotics, 3D Printing, and CNC Milling
- Ages: 8–17
- Tuition: $85 per 4-week Innovation Block
- Goal: Spark curiosity, build foundational skills, and help Innovators discover which creative and technology pathways excite them most
- Next Step: Complete Explorer and continue into the corresponding Creator Studio
- Multi-Studio Discount: Families enrolling in two or more Explorer Studios receive 10% off each additional Studio. Discounts may not be combined.
2. Creator — Develop
Guided Skill Development
Creator is designed for Innovators who have completed the corresponding Explorer Studio and are ready to tackle larger projects, develop deeper technical skills, and work with increasing independence.
- Prerequisite: Completion of the corresponding Explorer Studio or equivalent Juice Works 3D experience
- Format: 4-week Innovation Block with one 1.5-hour session per week
- Learning Experience: Small-group, coach-guided instruction with increasing creative independence
- Studios: Game Design, Robotics, 3D Printing, and CNC Milling
- Ages: 8–17
- Tuition: $140 per 4-week Innovation Block
- Schedule: Creator Studios are primarily offered on Saturdays and open based on demonstrated demand from eligible Explorer graduates
- Goal: Strengthen technical skills, develop creative independence, and prepare Innovators for advanced project work in Innovator Lab
3. Innovator Lab — Create
Advanced, Mentor-Guided Studio Membership
Innovator Lab is the advanced stage of the Juice Works 3D Studio System. Innovators apply skills from multiple Studios while designing original projects, tackling open-ended challenges, collaborating with peers, and building a portfolio of meaningful work.
- Format: Ongoing monthly membership with four 1.5-hour sessions per month
- Enrollment: Rolling admission at the beginning of monthly project themes, subject to eligibility and available seats
- Innovator Lab Studios: Game Design, Robotics, and 3D Printing & CNC Milling
- Ages: 10–17
- Tuition: $165 per month
- Experience Includes: Original monthly challenges, professional software and equipment, coach mentoring, collaboration, iteration, showcases, and portfolio development
- Goal: Help Innovators combine their skills, take ownership of meaningful projects, and grow into confident creators, collaborators, and problem-solvers
🚀 Pathway to Innovator Lab
To join an Innovator Lab, students must complete Explorer and Creator in that Studio, plus Explorer and Creator in at least one additional Juice Works 3D Studio.
For example, Robotics Innovator Lab requires completion of Robotics Explorer and Robotics Creator, plus completion of Explorer and Creator in one additional Studio.
Students who successfully complete a Juice Works 3D Summer Camp have completed the equivalent of Explorer and Creator in both Studios featured during that camp. Students must also meet the Innovator Lab age requirement.
Innovator Lab is where developed skills become original creations.

Juice Works 3D follows local school calendars and may adjust programming for holidays, school breaks, severe weather, and scheduled closures.

What is this program?
A hands-on, project-based after-school program where students learn and create with 3D Printing, Robotics, Game Design, Coding, CNC Milling, and more.How does it work?
Students attend 1 or 2 days per week for a 1 -1.5-hour structured session on their scheduled day(s) based on level. We offer a flexible arrival window 15min before. Each child chooses their technology focus and progresses through structured lessons with support from our coaches.What ages is this for?
Ages 8-17. Primarily upper elementary through middle school. High school students are welcome by interest.What’s the difference between this and summer camp?
This is ongoing, after-school enrichment designed for deeper skill-building over time, with clear progression through Iron and Silver levels.Can my child switch studios?
Yes! After completing one studio, they can start another or continue advancing in their chosen studio.What if we miss a day?
One make-up session per month is allowed with advance notice.What is the student-to-coach ratio?
Small groups, typically 1:6 or better.Is this structured or free play?
Students work on structured learning projects, with coach guidance and milestones.Is curriculum aligned with state and national standards?
Yes. Our curriculum is aligned to CSTA Computer Science Standards and K12 Computer Science Framework.Can my child progress?
Yes. We offer three mastery levels - Explorer (Beginner), Creator (Intermediate), Innovator (Advanced)*membership renews automatically each month for Innovator Lab

3D Printing
Also called additive manufacturing, learn a variety of fundamental digital design and technical skills that will fuel you to complete design-build projects resulting in 3D-printed products you can use and take home!
Game Development & Coding
Learn how to design and develop your own 2D and 3D games using a variety of game development engines including Construct 3, Roblox Studio, Godot, and even Unreal Engine. Also learn how to code your own apps using Python!
CNC Milling
Also called subtractive manufacturing, you'll learn a variety of fundamental digital design and technical skills that will fuel you to complete design-build projects resulting in milled products you can use and take home!
Robotics & Automation
Learn how to use the latest robotic arm technology to learn a variety of technical skills required to learn to control a robotic arm, program and automate it to complete task-oriented projects.
